Digital scanning of tourist locations is carried out in the Exclusion zone

Developers of the mobile application about Chornobyl are conducting a digital scanning of the exclusion zone facilities. In particular, the Ferris wheel, the facilities of the central square of the city of Pripyat, the radar station Duga have already been digitized. All these facilities will become part of the exclusion zone map.

Digitalization of the facilities is carried out with the help of modern means of photogrammetry, laser scanning of objects and the creation of spherical photos and videos for virtual spaces.

The Exclusion Zone is part of the «Magnets of Ukraine» project. The magnetism of the exclusion zone can be not only tourism, but also research and investment attractiveness. The mobile application about Chornobyl can become a platform where the necessary information will be provided in a convenient format for visitors who plan to travel to the exclusion zone.

The use of modern technologies will allow you to visit the exclusion zone without leaving home and see Chornobyl in a virtual format accompanied by an audio guide.

The application, which will be available in late October, is realized in Ukrainian and English.

For reference.

The mobile application is being developed by an experienced team of developers led by Maria Tintul and Valery Korshunov, who already have applications in their portfolio created for large social projects.
